We have been warned that fake coronavirus text messages are being circulated across the country by criminals. The texts claim that your movements have been monitored and that you have left your home on several occasions without good reason and must pay a fine. The texts then encourage people to click on links contained within the text.
These texts are fake, produced by criminals who may wish to steal your money or data, or con you out of money. If you receive any such texts, DO NOT click or tap any links that these messages contain.
