Reporting scam e-mails

The Government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has launched a suspicious email reporting service to allow people to report e-mails that they believe are bogus or phishing scams. To report a suspicious e-mail simply forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk .

Once the NCSC have received your e-mail they will investigate to confirm whether it is genuine or a scam. They will then take any action necessary, such as arranging for bogus websites to be closed down.

Unfortunately, the NCSC are unable to personally reply to e-mails they have been sent, due to the sheer volume that they receive every week.
