In a previous article on the Lower Thames Crossing planning application by Highways England, we highlighted that the application was rejected by the Planning Inspectorate as they had a number of serious concerns on a range of matters.

Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association Councillors recently held a Zoom meeting with Highways England, who are planning to submit a further application later this year following a further Public Consultation. At the meeting, Highways England detailed their current plans, which contain only minor changes, with the main route now fixed.

As soon as we know when the Public Consultation will take place and details of any local public events where Highways England will present their proposals, we will advise you in the Bulletin and on our website.

In the meantime please see the Highways England Web Maps link , which gives current details of the proposed route, possible works compounds and other useful information.
