On Monday 21 June 2021, a temporary experimental traffic scheme in Minster Way, Hornchurch went live. This means that the following restrictions apply –
- You are no longer allowed to turn left from Wingletye Lane into Minster Way when you are traveling from the direction of the A127.
- You are no longer allowed to make a right turn out of Minster Way into Wingletye Lane.
- You are no longer allowed to drive across Wingletye Lane from Minster Way into Maywin Drive.
Enforcement cameras are in place and motorist who fail to observe these new restrictions will be issued with a penalty charge notice.

The experimental scheme lasts for 18 months from the 21 June 2021. After that time the council will either need to remove the restrictions or make them permanent.
