The Local Government Boundary Commission is responsible for conducting reviews of local authority arrangements. They are currently reviewing Havering’s elected councillor numbers and ward boundaries.
The London Borough of Havering has not been reviewed since 1999 and the Commission has therefore decided that it should be done in advance of the elections in 2022. As part of this they will be holding a meeting with residents and other members of the local community to discuss the electoral review.
The meeting will be held at 6.30pm on Monday 16 December 2019 in Havering Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, RM1 3BD.
All members of the local community are welcome to attend this open event, where they will be explaining the process of an electoral review and how you can get your voice heard.
