The national Head of Counter Terrorism Policing, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, has previously proclaimed that “Communities defeat terrorism”.

As part of the drive for everyday people to be the eyes and ears of this and become ‘CT Citizens’, counter terrorism training is now available to the public via a free online 45-minute course. Previously only available to those working in crowded places, the training gives tips on how to spot suspicious behaviour and what to do in the event of a major incident.

For further information and to register, visit the national Counter Terrorism website.
