Havering Council hotline to prevent scams

Havering Council have launched a hotline for residents to call if they believe they may have received one of the scam letters currently circulating, purporting to come from Havering Council, the government and the NHS. The letters encourage people to go onto a website, which is fake and will attempt to con people out of money for bogus COVID-19 testing.

If you are concerned about this or any other letter, phone call or e-mail you receive, you can call the council’s COVID-19 hotline on 0800 368 5201 (Mon–Fri 9am-5pm).
