As part of the Home Office Prevent anti-terrorism campaign, a new Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) website has been launched, to give advice to people who are worried that someone close to them is expressing extreme views or hatred, which could lead them to harming themselves or others.
The website address is actearly.uk/#sel . You can also call the Prevent advice line in confidence on 0800 011 3764 .
In an emergency, the advice is to dial 999, whilst keeping yourself safe.
