The East London Waste Authority (who run the Gerpins Lane Reuse and Recycling Centre) have announced that although the centre will remain open with the normal opening hours of 7.30am-5.30pm Monday-Sunday, residents should only attend if the trip is essential and you cannot store the waste at home or have it collected.
