Transport for London (TfL) are conducting a review into the use of in-vehicle CCTV in London’s taxis (black cabs) and private hire vehicles (including minicabs). At present, it is the vehicle owner’s choice whether or not to install CCTV in their vehicle.
As part of the review, TfL have launched a public consultation to find out the public’s views on in-vehicle CCTV use. The consultation runs until Monday 22 March 2021.
