Havering Council are currently conducting a public survey, prior to introducing a street trading policy. They want to hear from local businesses and residents about what the policy should include, so that they can help create a safe environment for businesses to trade outside on the street, while preventing crime and anti-social behaviour.
The consultation will cover the use of tables and chairs and advertising boards outside premises, and licensing for businesses that operate outside, like ice cream vans, and pop-up stalls.
The consultation runs until Tuesday 09 November 2021 and can be accessed via the Have your say on street trading link.
