We have previously warned of scam e-mails. To help prevent these, any suspect e-mails can be forwarded to the National Cyber Security Centre via report@phishing.gov.uk .

However, we have recently been told about a similar way of reporting scam texts, which are becoming more frequent. If you think that a text message is bogus, you can forward it free of charge to your phone provider on 7726. They will then be able to investigate the origin of the text and take action, if found to be malicious.
