Havering Astronomical Society have informed us of the following meetings that they will be holding –
Wednesday 19 January 2022 7.15 for 7.30pm – Dr Martin D. Suttle, Lecturer in Planetary Science at The Open University, will present “The Winchcombe meteorite and what we’ve learned so far”: an overview of the meteorite which fell in a Gloucestershire driveway in February 2021, exploring its incredible survival through the atmosphere, its origin in the outer asteroid belt, its chemical and isotopic composition and the fascinating geology of its parent asteroid.

Young Astronomers – Thursday 27 January 2022 7-8pm – The Young Astronomers meet every month to enjoy a variety of talks, space news and practical observing.
