The last Full Council Meeting before the Local Elections in May will be held tonight (23 March 2022) in Romford Town Hall, starting at 7.30pm. The meeting will be available via live webcast and afterwards via recorded video.
Havering Residents’ Association (H.R.A) member councillors have submitted several questions, including –
- Street cleaning being reduced from ten to every fifteen working days
- Speed reduction measures in North Ockendon
- The amount spent on road and pavement repairs
- Charges for CCTV and the Community Warden Service
- Productivity measurement by Havering Council
Our H.R.A colleagues have also submitted motions regarding the following issues –
- Abstraction of police Safer Neighbourhood Team officers, and promised new public CCTV
- Increasing recycling rates above those currently proposed for Havering
- The lack of action in preparing a report concerning traffic safety measures in several areas of Upminster
