Local residents, which include the Residents’ Association of Emerson Park team, have been thanked by the Planning Officer responsible for dealing with the ‘Permission in Principle for 5 to 9 self build plots’ application on land in Copthorn Gardens.
The officer wrote ‘I confirm that the application was refused on 3rd of March. I have attached the officer’s delegated report.
I would like to particularly thanks the residents who raised their concerns, even though, because of the nature of the application, the council could not send neighbour notification letters as the routine practice.
So far no appeal has been made against the council’s decision to refuse the scheme.’
