Ofcom have recently highlighted that ‘The broadband and mobile markets offer customers a wide range of choice, with different deals available to suit different needs. Some providers offer social tariffs which are only available to customers who receive certain government benefits…’
Major firms who do this include BT, Sky and Virgin Media, with BT also providing social tariffs for voice only landline services. However, many do not advertise this clearly on their websites.
