The Elections Team at Havering Council have started their Annual Household Canvass, to make sure that anyone who is eligible to vote can do so. They will be contacting every address in Havering over the next few weeks by the following methods –
- E-mail from havering.election.services@notifications.service.gov.uk
- An SMS text message from ‘Havering’
- By post
You are required by law to check the information on the form you are sent is correct and update it if necessary. The Elections Team ask that every household complete their form as soon as possible, to avoid them having to visit individual addresses.
Anybody not currently registered to vote can also register to vote online via www.gov.uk/register-to-vote .
