One of our nearby Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) have advised that there have been two recent thefts from external post boxes outside of homes, where the thieves have then applied for credit cards in the name of the owner.
They advise that owners of such post boxes should be vigilant and empty the post boxes regularly.
