Havering Council’s Government funding petition

Government funding to Havering has been cut by 98% since 2010, which is one of the main reasons why cut-backs to certain council services are currently being considered.

These funding levels are disproportionate to inner London areas, such as Westminster, and are unfair on the residents and business rate payers in our borough.

Havering Council have therefore launched a petition, to press the Government to agree a new, fairer, funding formula for our borough. For further details and to sign the petition visit the Help Havering get its fair share of Government Funding webpage on the Council’s website.
