On 25 November 2022, the first day of international action around Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) will be recognised locally by an event at Havering Town Hall from 10am – 12 noon.

The aim of the event is to give residents and professionals an understanding of how services in Havering work together.

On the panel will be staff from Havering Council’s enforcement and community safety teams, plus Metropolitan Police, Havering Women’s Aid and a personal account from someone directly affected by violence.

Following the morning session, there will be a chance for everyone to chat and find out what else is available to support women in Havering.

Tickets can be booked via the Havering Standing up to VAWG weblink on eventbrite.
