As part of their response to the coronavirus pandemic, Havering Council have launched the Havering Funding Program (HVP), which gives the opportunity for smaller charities, not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises and unregistered charity groups to apply for grants of up to £5,000 of emergency funding to help them continue to deliver much-needed support within their communities. Eligible organisations can apply for a grant by emailing info@thefore.org .
The Council have provided up to £75,000 towards the HVP but they have also partnered with Spacehive to launch an online crowdfunding campaign, called the Havering Heroes Fund, for individuals and organisations to add to the HVP with their own donations.
