The local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) are currently undertaking a review of the local ward boundaries for Havering Council. On 28 July, they published their draft recommendations, which can be viewed on the LGBCE Havering review website.
A consultation process on the draft recommendations is now open until 05 October 2020 and people can submit their comments via the same website. The final LGBCE recommendations are due to be published on 11 January 2021.
The draft LGBCE recommendations are vastly different from either the official submission by Havering Council or the joint submission by the Residents’ Association of Emerson Park and the Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association and we are currently analysing them in detail. We will publish further information when we have done this.
