The Havering Astronomical Society will be having an online meeting on 19 August, which will include a talk by the eminent astronomer Jocelyn Bell Burnell, about the discovery of radio pulsars, which she achieved as a postgraduate student, in 1967. This has been described as one of the most significant scientific achievements of the 20th century.
The meeting is open to Society members and guests. To take part, please contact Liz Watson via enquires@havastro.co.uk .
