We have been contacted by a local resident, who received a call from someone saying they were representing an energy company, but, when challenged, the person would not provide his name and company details etc.
In the current climate, where there are problems with energy suppliers going out of business, it is important to beware of possible scams resulting from the energy crisis.
Please always challenge anyone who cold calls you or your family members and never provide them with personal or financial details.
